Since every client is as unique as our fingerprints, I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. With one client, I may use hiking and go on a bike ride in the forest with another one.
While each client requires a different approach, my approach is guided by the following Co-Active cornerstones:
First, each client is naturally creative, resourceful and whole. I consider each of my clients as whole, not broken and needing no ‘fixing’. This is how I work with clients both inside and outside prison. Each of the cleints that I work with needs the right questions and environment that can unclock their full potential. My role is simply to discover, uncover or polish the treasure that my clients possess.
Secondly, each client drives their agenda because they know what they want or desire to experience in their lives. My task is to work as a co-partner who helps the process of steering the client towards finding fulfillment and balance in their lives.
Thirdly, everything that happens during the coaching relationship is an opportunity for learning and creating more awareness. We will deal with or just be with whatever comes up in each moment, knowing that whatever arises and wherever individuals are in this moment is the perfect place for them right now.
Lastly, I co-partner with each client to cover every aspect of an individual’s life: relationships, education, work, home, family, money, and intimacy and so on. This is to ensure that our time together addresses the client’s whole life.
I want you to have roaring courage, find fulfilment and have a clear sense of purpose and meaning, develop self-worth and operate at your most optimum level. We work together in service to what you want and need the most.
That is how I work.
